- Alkaline furnish will not damage our products. Wire life should stay the same or improve when switching from plastic to ceramic.
- Strong solvents, caustics and cleaners will not damage the products.
- Temperatures up to 212º Farenheit (100º C) will not harm the parts and thermal shock from cleaning hot parts with cold water can normally be tolerated.
- Standard foils are not designed to be used on twin wire machines. We can design custom parts for these machines, however, they need to be made to much tighter tolerances than for Fourdrinier applications.
